Programmes
The National Emergency Supply Agency has started extensive and long-term programme work in order to manage the impact of major societal and economic upheavals on security of supply. The whole consists of four programmes:
Energy 2030
The programme seeks ways to achieve security of energy supply in a carbon-neutral society. The energy revolution means a significant reduction in the use of fossil fuels, which will reduce the importance of existing safety and liability stocks. In the future, energy supply must be secured with solutions that address the availability of renewable fuels, security of electricity supply and the management of security of supply risks for growing primary energy sources.
Implementation of the Energy 2030 program began in autumn 2019.
Digital Security 2030
The purpose of the programme is to develop society’s tolerance for cyber disruptions. The main focuses of the programme are on the development of society’s capabilities in preparing for digital threats and digital infrastructure.
Implementation of the Digital Security 2030 programme began in January 2021.
Logistics 2030
The programme aims to strengthen the operational capability and operating conditions of critical logistics infrastructure and services, and to develop the purposefulness, effectiveness and long-term nature of security of supply operations.
Implementation of the Logistics 2030 program began in March 2021.
Region 2030
The programme develops the coordination of preparedness and security of supply between authorities and different industries at both the national and regional levels.
Implementation of the Region 2030 program began in June 2021.
